Patrick Abercrombie's "Greater London Plan"

One of my favourite works of data visualization is a map from “The Greater London Plan” of 1944 by Patrick Abercrombie and J.H. Forshaw: a plan for rebuilding London after the Blitz, and an attempt to rethink the footprint of a city shaped by unplanned 19th-century industry.
