Data That Moves Us: a Guerrilla Data Lab at Canva HQ

The last stop of our week at London Data Week was Canva’s London HQ in Hoxton Square, for “Data That Moves Us: Storytelling in Practice”, a day of hands-on workshops run with Flourish.

We opened with the Great London Survey, the yellow 3-wheeled vehicle we’d been driving around the city all week, then ran a Guerrilla Data Lab for a sold-out room of 150. People paired up, collected data from each other, and turned it into posters by hand. By the end the posters filled the office’s front windows, and went outside onto the square.
