I asked an artificial intelligence to draw a chart

A new generation of text-to-image models, Midjourney, DALL·E 2 and Stable Diffusion, was changing what generative design could do almost weekly. I asked them to draw charts, wrote up what came back, and followed it with a talk on the ideas underneath the technology and what it means for information designers.
