NYC EATS: a 13-foot tower of how New York eats

For “The Craft of Data Graphics” at Cooper Union, curated by RJ Andrews, we built a thirteen-foot totem out of a shopping cart and a stack of hand-painted data graphics discussing NYC food from many angles. 6,418 restaurants in Manhattan vs 884 on Staten Island. New Yorkers spending $2,029.82 a year on alcohol. More than 80,000 food-delivery drivers in the city and the extra 20% you pay when you order through an app.
