NYC School of Data: sketching and polling with the open-data crowd

Our second year at NYC School of Data, the public-interest tech week that anchors Open Data Week, run by BetaNYC at CUNY School of Law. We gave a short tour of NYC Open Data, then sketched concepts and made data posters with markers, tape and paper. No spreadsheets, no software.
